For a culinary adventure like no other, Caribbean Wrap is serving up a touch of Caribbean sunshine in the heart of Gloucester. The restaurant and takeaway, located near the Gloucester docks, is a small family business which has been running for over eight years.

Caribbean Wrap offers a range of traditional Caribbean cuisine along with fresh homemade drinks, including Stout Punch, Pineapple Sexy and carrot juice as well as a selection of cakes such as fruit and potato cake. A definite must is the jerk pork or chicken with its special blend of peppers, herbs and spices, which delivers a spicy kick that will push the tastebuds into a state of excitement. For the more delicate palate the curried goat is a fantastic alternative, with its subtle blend of flavours. The mutton of the Jamaican imported curry, seasoned with onion and garlic, is cooked to perfection, unleashing a medley of flavours that explode around the tender meat. Also on the menu is the delicious Jamaican national dish - ackee and salt fish. Ackee is a yellow fruit prepared as a vegetable, which beautifully offsets the salt fish. All main meal dishes are served with rice or rice and peas.

Whether eating in or taking out, Caribbean Wrap offers incredible food at prices that won't break the bank and the team even offers outside catering. This place will brighten up any day with its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere - so sit back and sample a taste of the Caribbean.
