Silk & Grain
Located in the heart of the city, Silk & Grain is an independently run steak restaurant serving top-quality 35-day-aged steak in a variety of different cuts. These range from Tomahawk and Porterhouse, to Chateaubriand and many more. All of the steaks are sourced from accredited farms by master butcher John Gilmour – an independent family-run butcher’s based in the Scottish Borders, specialising in the supply of the top one per cent of Scottish beef, renowned for its full flavour and tenderness.
The wine list is specially designed to complement the variety of food on the menu and boasts grapes from all over the world. The mezzanine area is a fantastic space for you to sample the dishes in an inviting restaurant, or equally, the vibrant bar area is ideal for casual dining and great cocktails and drinks, including the famous and widely loved, on-site barrel-aged Negroni.
The restaurant is located two minutes away from Bank station on Cornhill. It’s the perfect place for a variety of events, including business meetings, networking, sit-down lunches, dinner, drinks parties and canapé receptions.
