Since opening in 1906 the magnificent Ritz Restaurant has left an indelible impression on all who have dined there. As grand as it is intimate, it is the last bastion of palace-style dining, seamlessly combining seasonal British ingredients with Escoffier-influenced classical French dishes.

The Ritz Restaurant is considered by many to be the most beautiful restaurant in Europe. The vast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Green Park, the rich and varied use of soft pink, pale green and veined white marble, and the dazzling garlands of chandeliers reflected in the panelled mirror wall combine to create one of the most spectacular interiors in London, as charming by day as it is by night.

Executive chef John Williams MBE stands at the helm of this cornerstone of London luxury, creating classic culinary delights prepared with contemporary influences. His dedication to consistently creating distinctive dishes that are precisely executed and impeccably presented has led this award-winning restaurant to surpass diners' every expectation, every time.

Offering exceptional value, The Ritz Restaurant's du jour menu is priced from £35 per person for two courses at lunch (£45 for three); or £50 for three courses at dinner (£65 for five). Menus change seasonally, but diners can expect such sumptuous dishes as terrine of goose liver with spiced pineapple and gingerbread; roast sea bass with salted lemons and olives; and Granny Smith meringue with caramelised apple.

Radiating glitz and glamour, The Ritz Restaurant will unleash your inner Fred and Ginger on Saturday nights with a superb evening of dinner and dance. From £95 per person, 'Live at The Ritz' features a spectacular four-course dinner with dancing to the sounds of Peter O'Donnell and his band. During the summer months, The Ritz Restaurant's open-air landscaped terrace is the perfect destination for a long lunch on a sunny day. This leafy terrace in the heart of the city overlooks one of London's prettiest royal parks and offers alfresco dining at its best.

Befitting the elegant style of The Ritz, the restaurant observes a formal dress code. With the exception of breakfast, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sport shoes are not permitted), so make sure you wear your best attire to suit the occasion.
