Ayoush is a very popular Moroccan venue right in the heart of London, just minutes from Oxford Street. The menu is full of traditional favourites, such tagines, grills and fish, packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The chef also adds his own Moroccan style to the more unusual dishes, making the most of seasonal ingredients.

Refurbished in summer 2013, the stunning venue features atmospheric lighting throughout, as well as rich fabrics and colours and intricate brass and metalwork. Set out over two floors, the downstairs 'caves' are brilliant for group dining and private hire, with their own VIP area and bar. The new cocktail menu is a musttry - it is truly inventive and absolutely original. On the ground floor the restaurant is relaxed and friendly - a great spot for lunch or dinner. The huge windows look out over the terrace where shisha is prepared by an expert who is renowned for serving the best in London.

Ayoush is full of little unique touches such as warming throws for when the weather's a little chillier outside; homemade pastries (baklava) which are a delicate delight; and Moroccan tea served with real flair. There are also some interesting wines and beers from the region, which are well worth trying alongside the fabulous food
