Just minutes from Marble Arch station, within The Cumberland Hotel, is Momentus Restaurant & Bar. Its modern interior and stylish decor with soft lighting boasts an exclusive yet chilled ambience that attracts London’s sociable, elite crowd. Located within a bustling shopping hub, this smart, laid-back venue has emerged as a much-loved haunt, with a fashionable food offering to match. The menu offers tried-and-tested favourites and bar snacks to accompany your chosen tipple. You’re spoilt for choice thanks to a host of wine, Champagne, spirits and an extensive range of cocktails, including splendid new gin and vodka concoctions.

We began with a mezze platter laden with halloumi, baba ganoush and generous helpings of pitta, which made for a great starter to share. A classic British staple of fish and chips came highly recommended by our knowledgeable and friendly waitress and proved to be utterly delicious. For a lighter fish option, my teriyaki salmon on a bed of lentils was beautifully cooked and accompanied by vegetables that looked fresh from the garden. We finished on a sweet note, as we simply couldn’t resist gorgeous chocolate fondant and cheesecake desserts. This sanctuary should be on your radar as a top choice for post-work tipples, pre-dinner drinks and casual dining.
