Loch Fyne - Covent Garden
Situated in the heart of Covent Garden, Loch Fyne is known for serving up fresh seafood inspired by the beautiful west coast of Scotland. Surrounded by elegant architecture and located close to the theatres on Drury Lane and The Strand, Loch Fyne is the perfect place to sate your appetite before soaking up some culture.
The menu showcases seasonal fare with modern Scottish fl air. Always fresh and sustainably sourced, the shellfish is delivered straight from the loch itself. Pop in for lunch and dine from the reasonably priced, ever-changing set menu, which offers two courses for £11.95 and three for £13.95. Start perhaps with crispy sprats with garlic aioli before moving onto king prawn spaghetti. If you feel more comfortable on land, you could always start with a pork, chestnut and celeriac sausage roll, before a main course of confit duck leg. Desserts include traditional crème brûlée and treacle tart.
For a slightly more indulgent affair, kick things off with a glass of Prosecco and some fresh oysters before tucking into a starter of salt and pepper squid from the main menu. For the main course, it has to be the whole baked lobster served with French fries, though the poached smoked haddock with chargrilled creamed leeks, wholegrain mustard and a poached egg is an equally stunning choice.
