Lamb & Flag
Ideally located in Covent Garden, this historic pub has always been a popular destination. In the early 1800s it earned the nickname ‘the bucket of blood’ by hosting bare-knuckle prizefights. The Lamb & Flag has changed considerably since then; it’s the excellent cooking and wide selection of Fuller’s seasonal ale that draws crowds today. It’s the perfect place to meet friends for a refreshing pint of London Pride; if you fancy something fruity, try the Fuller’s Session IPA. If you’re looking for a pre-theatre bite to eat, we would recommend the crispy salt and pepper squid with nam jim dipping sauce, followed by pan-fried chicken breast with sautéed new potatoes, wilted spinach and chorizo butter. For dessert, why not treat yourself to vintage ale sticky toffee pudding, drizzled with toffee sauce and served with a side of buffalo milk salted caramel ice cream?
