Located in Marylebone Village, Trishna specialises in the coastal cuisine of South West India. It is the sister restaurant of Trishna Mumbai, which is widely acknowledged as one of the best seafood restaurants in the world and was the winner of The Times of India's 'Best Coastal Food' award for 2011.

Head chef Karam Sethi's previous workplaces include Bukhara in Delhi (a regular on the S. Pellegrino 'World's 50 Best Restaurants' list), Trishna Mumbai and Zuma London. The comprehensive and alluring menu encompasses both traditional and evolutionary coastal cuisine. Dishes are designed with sharing in mind, and there is an emphasis on simple flavours and presentation. Ingredients are carefully sourced, featuring fresh fish, crustacea, meat, poultry and seasonal vegetables prepared over a charcoal sigri, in a tandoori clay oven or on an iron tawa. The wine list features over 200 bins from niche producers and boutique wineries.

The restaurant is decorated in shades of blue and cream, and its design features include wooden dining tables and chairs, pale oak flooring, exposed brick walls and tumbled marble. In warmer weather the restaurant's doors open up onto Blandford Street for alfresco dining. There is also a private dining room, with the restaurant's wine cellar as a backdrop, which seats up to 12 guests.
