108 Brasserie & 108 Pantry
In the heart of Marylebone you’ll fi nd 108 Brasserie and 108 Pantry. The brasserie itself houses two distinctive areas: the bar, a chic and sophisticated drinking and dining area; and the main dining space, where a host of modern British dishes take centre stage. Meanwhile, the light and bright 108 Pantry is perfect for indulging in a spot of lunch or afternoon tea.
108 Brasserie prides itself on being an unfussy local favourite. The interior, designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors, features a mix of the traditional and the modern – think rich red leather, beautiful parquet, antique mirrors and a dark stained oak bar. As for the menu, it showcases produce that’s foraged, farmed and fished from the British Isles. The modern British cuisine is hearty and uncomplicated, and only highquality seasonal ingredients are used. Appetising starters may include Devonshire crab cocktail with avocado and apple and crispy pig’s cheek with sweet apple and raisin chutney, while tempting mains include succulent slow-cooked breast of lamb with celeriac remoulade, roasted Yorkshire Moor pheasant with game chips and, from the Josper grill, cider-glazed, free-range Suffolk pork chop and whole lemon sole. Desserts, too, are heavenly – help yourself to a devilish chocolate fondant or a zesty lemon tart.
The restaurant experience, from the service to the ambience, makes this unfussy space a local favourite. Open all day, every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, here you can expect nothing less than quality food, great wine and exceptional service.
