One of the Wirral's most talked about Thai restaurants, Khrua Thai Orchid is an exquisite eatery offering a complete Thai dining experience. Owners Keith and Saran have run a very successful Thai catering service since 2003, and evidently know a thing or two about hospitality. They have gone to great lengths to give the restaurant an authentic atmosphere, having shipped in genuine Thai artefacts and furniture to recreate a small slice of South East Asia for you to enjoy.

Unlike at most Thai restaurants, the menu at Khrua Thai Orchid is table d'hote rather than à la carte, meaning you don't get bewildered by countless choices. If you dine before 7pm, you can get two courses for a very reasonable £12.95 - after 7pm it is still great value at £15.95 (£16.95 on Saturdays). On Sundays you can indulge in an extensive Thai buffet, which is £9.95 for adults and £6 for those under ten. Alternatively, enhance your quiet night in with their efficient takeaway service - you can feast like a king on smooth Thai curry, hot and sour soup, and even fresh fish creations. Popular dishes include classic pad Thai and kaeng masaman kaeh - a special lamb curry.

The word 'khrua' means kitchen - and you can tell it is at the very heart of this wonderful restaurant. You'll be swept off your feet when you visit.
