Brasserie Blanc's aim has always been to offer a relaxed atmosphere where family, friends and colleagues can enjoy beautifully cooked dishes inspired by Raymond Blanc's childhood in France. The Milton Keynes brasserie is an open, airy space conveniently located for business lunches and shoppers alike. It is also a popular venue for pre-theatre dining. The Beaconsfield restaurant is simply stunning, with a high atrium ceiling in the rear and aged, lime-washed beams over the busy breakfast area. In Berkhamsted, Brasserie Blanc's home is a special Georgian building with a hidden courtyard to the rear, while the St Albans restaurant is light, bright and friendly - perfect for informal dining and special occasions alike. Whichever brasserie you visit, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from a friendly professional team. The à la carte menu changes with the seasons and features dishes such as pan-fried morteau sausage, cheese soufflé and roasted pork belly with crackling and poached crab apples. Mouth-watering desserts like Mont Blanc and Normandy apple tart are the perfect way to round off your meal. There is also the excellent value menu prix fixe with two courses for just £11.95 until 6.30pm from Monday to Saturday (£14.45 after 6.30pm from Sunday to Thursday). Kids are also made welcome with the Henri le Worm two-course menu for £5.95 including drink, half-sized portions from the main menu for older children, and for very little ones, free carrot purée or a mini portion of macaroni cheese.
