Headed by mother-and-daughter team, Annie and Louise, The Sand Bar is very much a family-run business. Annie has lived in the area most of her life and knows many of the locals. This familiarity with the locale, coupled with her keen intuition and history within the catering industry, means that she knows how to please her customers and meet their individual requirements. Annie is creative and has an eye for detail, and you will often see her handiwork decorating the front of house. Louise has worked in the catering industry in London, New York and Sydney, and brings a touch of cosmopolitan flair to The Sand Bar, often changing the menu to bring things up to date and keep diners on their toes. The team at The Sand Bar is passionate about wine, and champions smaller vineyards, buying all fine wines from Berry Brothers and Rudd. Local and organic produce is used wherever possible, and everything is made fresh on the premises.
The Sand Bar prides itself on the loyalty of its regular clientele, who return time and time again to take advantage of the excellent produce and hospitality. The owners have a hands-on approach, and their staff are well-trained and extremely attentive. The team at The Sand Bar has plans to entertain diners with a range of exciting events in the coming year and, of course, to provide them with yet more delicious seafood.
