Olivier’s Restaurant
Fine Dining

If you’re looking to experience high-quality dining in Bedfordshire, look no further than Olivier’s Restaurant at The Woburn Hotel. Newly decorated dining areas bring an ambience that’s characteristic of the Woburn Estate, and the beauty and elegance of the dining room is mirrored in the food; a quality seldom experienced outside the capital.
We welcomed our starters of pan-fried scallops, and smoked duck with berries and asparagus. The scallops were seared lightly, rich without overpowering the chicken skin and purée. A mention goes to the smoked duck with berries; an unusual combination and nothing short of a masterpiece, with a stunning array of texture and flavour that was as surprising as it was delightful.
I chose the beef fillet with vegetables, and my more adventurous wife went for fried ginger-glazed salmon. My beef was rare, and the vegetables were cooked to a sweet texture that when combined with the pea purée provided a real taste sensation. The salmon had crisp skin, and the bean salad came with an exciting Asian twist that perfectly complemented the meat. My wife was delighted with her gooey chocolate soufflé paired with chocolate orange sorbet. I chose to finish with carrot cake cheesecake with cream cheese frosting. It was presented immaculately and tasted utterly divine. With the menu changing regularly throughout the year, there’s always something new and delicious to try – we’ll certainly be returning.
