The idyllic village of Little Braxted is home to The Green Man, which overlooks the village green and is the perfect spot for dog-walkers, cyclists, and foodies alike. Conveniently close to plenty of walks through the surrounding countryside, The Green Man provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Stunningly refurbished in 2014, The Green Man’s interior has been sensitively updated to retain its historic oak beams and log fires. It’s a relaxed and cosy spot for dining, perfect for chilly evenings. The outside seating area is perfect for al fresco dining or a laid-back drink in the sunshine.

Offering traditional country-pub fare, real ale, fine wine, and fantastic service, the pub is a popular watering hole and a beloved destination for those seeking consistently delicious pub grub. Alongside traditional dishes such as chicken liver pâté, the selection of delicious starters boasts spicy Korean-style chicken wings with salad and a spring onion and chilli garnish. Mains include fish and chips, a flavoursome burger, and chicken and chorizo lasagne with sweet potato fries and dressed salad, as well as mouth-watering Malaysian prawn and squid laksa, accompanied by prawn crackers and sweet chilli sauce. Desserts range from crumble of the day with custard or ice cream and sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch and vanilla ice cream, to chocolate orange cheesecake and an enticing whisky and croissant bread and butter pudding with honeycomb ice cream.
