Situated at the epicentre of Epping Forest, surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty and with spectacular views across London and the Home Counties, The King's Oak Hotel is a truly magnificent destination venue. The pub is a delightful little bolt-hole in the heart of the forest, and the interior is a charming example of Victorian boho-chic - painted racy red with contrasting dark low timber beams and antique crystal chandeliers. With real log fires and superb gastropub fare, it is a very welcome retreat.

The dining room is both intimate and stylish - with their sumptuous and seasonal à la carte menu, it is the perfect place to entertain. Meanwhile, the newly formed Beach Club is set within private walled gardens, featuring a 100ft architectural swimming pool, an original 1930s water fountain and a contemporary poolside lounge and dining area.

The King's Room function suite has been redesigned and refurbished to create a stunning venue for weddings, parties, dining feasts and an array of corporate and private events. It plays host every Friday night to The King's Oak 'Soul Soiree', with a keenly priced set menu, soul grooves, DJs or a live singer, and dancing till dawn.

Sunday lunch is a popular local attraction, with freshly cooked roasts with all the trimmings served throughout the day. In the summer months the pub offers a fabulous hog roast and barbecue menu in their forest garden setting - a feast fit for kings.
