The Prince of Wales
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Where possible, all produce is sourced from local farms, so you can be certain that whatever you choose from the wide-ranging menu will be fresh as can be. If you like soup, you're in for a real treat, for at The Prince of Wales, the soup of the day is always homemade using the finest ingredients. Full of flavour and goodness, and served with fresh, crusty bread, it's no wonder it has become a firm favourite. Equally popular are the homemade meat pies - try the steak and Stilton made with scrumptious shortcrust pastry for a heart-warming slice of indulgence. The weekly specials menu offers a unique combination of flavours. Why not try the wild rice, spinach and honey pot roast, or the Thai red duck curry - a delicious dish comprising succulent duck breast and saffron rice?
No local pub would be complete without real ales on tap, and here you will find a fantastic selection of beers from local brewers, as well as ever-changing guest ales.
Quiz nights takes place every Tuesday from 8pm, and the pub hosts special themed nights throughout the year - see the website for upcoming events. The Prince of Wales can also accommodate overnight stays, with five letting rooms available at very competitive prices.
Every Sunday the kitchen serves up delicious roasts, making The Prince of Wales the perfect place to conclude a relaxing weekend. Choose from beef, lamb, pork or vegetarian nut roast - all served with crisp roast potatoes, parsnips and fresh vegetables. So simply sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful food.
