If you’re on the hunt for somewhere with a warm welcome and a relaxed, casual atmosphere, look no further than The Three Horseshoes in Fordham. It flung open its doors in 2017 after a sympathetic refurbishment; ever since, this wonderful village pub has been very much the hub of the community.
The building dates back over 500 years, and features beautiful old beams and a splendid open fireplace. As well as the three main dining areas, there’s a garden with a covered seating area where The Shire, a delightful children’s play area, can be found.
From the main menu you can expect to find pub classics with a modern reinterpretation to keep things exciting, and a traditional roast is served every Sunday. Everything is cooked from scratch by a team of talented chefs – you’re sure to be impressed by the delicious fare on offer. Tempting mains include cumin spiced lamb rump, coriander and pomegranate cous cous, red cabbage with a radish salad and there’s a mouth-watering selection of dishes from the grill. This family-friendly pub offers an excellent-value children’s menu as well, making it a fantastic spot for the whole brood.
