RBG Bar and Grill
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
The food at RBG is unpretentious and unfussy and, what's more, the produce used is sourced from the best possible places, and prepared to the highest standard. With gourmet burgers, grill dishes and traditional favourites to choose from, no meal at this venue will leave you hungry.
Those braving mighty meat feasts such as the 227g hanger steak, or the prime cut of sirloin steak, will undoubtedly opt for one of the lighter starters (from a section quirkily titled This & That on the menu). These range from a fresh, warm spicy Thai beef salad, to serrano ham with rocket salad, olives and sunblushed tomato. Along with the aforementioned steak dishes from the chargrill section, the chefs at RBG can whip up a mean burger.
As well as the classic-style burger, there is a Cajun option (this one packs a punch) and even a juicy Portabello mushroom burger. The house favourites also deserve commendation, and from this part of the menu you can sample beer-battered fish and chips, pork sausage or a hefty lamb shank. As well as draught ales, lagers and wines, the drinks menu boasts some must-try cocktails that are a great way to begin your evening. Amongst these is a pitch-perfect Cosmopolitan, a Mojito powerful enough to send your mind racing to Mexico, and even RBG's own Woo Woo. But with lunchtime options available as well, the RBG Bar and Grill is a lively place to be at any time of the day.
Offering panoramic views across the river, an intimate dining experience and - perhaps most importantly - sumptuous cuisine, RBG Bar and Grill is a sizzling sensation.
