Purecraft Bar & Kitchen
Speak to any of Nottingham’s craft beer aficionados and you’re sure to be told that they’ve visited Purecraft Bar & Kitchen. Easy going, relaxed and convivial, this sister site to Purecraft Bar & Kitchen in Birmingham makes regulars of all who visit. Business partner Andreas Antona brings with him three Michelin stars of restaurant experience and his guidance and direction is evident across the board.
Menus at Purecraft take classic bar fare and thrust it into the 21st century. Namesake brewery Purity’s libations make appearances in well-considered dishes such as Purecrafted Scotch egg with homemade Purity beer ketchup, and burrata, broad bean and pea salad. Mains appear beside the team’s beer pairing recommendations – the slow-roasted pork belly with turnip purée, hispi cabbage, apple purée, pork sauce and fennel pairs perfectly with a pint of Purity Mad Goose or Hopped cider. For those with a sweet-tooth, the menu satisfies with treats like Odells Cutthroat Porter sticky toffee pudding, served with toffee sauce and clotted cream.
Look out for Purecraft’s beer tasting sessions, hosted in their vaulted tasting room. Some of these are open to individuals while others are booked by private appointment for parties of up to 20.
