The Angel at Spinkhill

This cherished pub was on the brink of being taken over by property developers when it was rescued by the local community. It’s now run by Chris and Jean Norfolk, under whose care it has become the buzzy, convivial spot you see today. There’s always something going on, like fish nights and popular gin tastings. At the weekends you can restore yourself with a tasty cooked brunch and a Bloody Mary, or tuck into an exceptional, hearty Sunday lunch.
