Situated in the pretty village of Heath just off the M1 at Junction 29, The Elm Tree is a very smart establishment enjoying superb views of the surrounding area - its large enclosed gardens provide the perfect viewpoint during summer months. Whether it's a full meal in the bright and airy restaurant, tapas at the bar with a bottle of wine, or a quick snack paired with one of four hand-pulled beers you're after, you're sure to enjoy The Elm Tree experience. All food is homemade and cooked fresh to order using locally sourced produce, including fresh breads, infused oils, sauces and chutneys. The team now grows their own salad, herbs and fruit too, and most of the eggs come from the resident Elm Tree chickens.

Extensive menus cater for all tastes and appetites. Traditional dishes such as meat and potato pie and fish and chips all feature, as well as a good selection of regularly changing fresh fish dishes, including sea bass, turbot, monkfish and swordfish, just to name a few. You'll find at least three vegetarian dishes to select from and it's also worth noting that the team is more than willing to cater for all dietary requirements. For young diners there is a special selection of fresh dishes to choose from and even a large play area to the rear.
