Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
78 Old Road, Tintwistle, Nr. Glossop, SK13 1JY
The Bulls Head proprietors, Jane and Mick, have created a pub that's not only at the epicentre of modern village life, but one that also retains its historic charm. Sitting snuggled in the old village, just off the busy A608 and overlooking Longdendale Valley and Bottoms Reservoir, the Bulls Head is the oldest public house in Glossopdale. Its traditional British pub menu relies on fresh local ingredients, while the beverage selection pulls together traditional real ales, beers and wines, as well as teas and coffees. The Bulls Head is a haven for those who love outdoor pursuits, currently hosting several fell runs in winter. A variety of groups and clubs utilise the back room snug as a meeting room, and all types of private parties and events can be catered for (outside normal opening hours if necessary). The Bulls Head welcomes the whole family - four-legged friends, muddy boots and all.
