Arnfield Fly Fishery
When arriving at Arnfi eld Fly Fishery café, it’s understandable to think you’ve found a little piece of heaven. The peaceful scenery provides the perfect backdrop to an exemplary home-cooked meal. With 48 seats on the decking and 24 covers indoors, including those in the light and airy conservatory, the stone cottage is the perfect place to relax both on a sunny day or during the winter months when the log burner ensures everyone is warm and cosy.
A family-run establishment, the fishery is run by Stephen and Pit Cuthbert, who cater to fishermen, cyclists, walkers and those travelling from further afi eld, not to mention the regulars who return time and again for Pit’s freshly cooked breakfasts. The menus are pleasingly simple, with everything made with love and pride in the immaculate open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is open all year, serving tantalising curries, tasty chillies, organically seasoned lamb burgers, and much more. To finish, delights including apple pie and lemon meringue pie are definitely worth sampling. Taking family recipes and adding her own secret ingredients, Pit’s cooking is worth travelling to enjoy.
Able to cater to individuals, parties, funerals, meetings and corporate fishing days out, there’s every reason to visit Arnfield Fly Fishery.
