Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Our waitress, Rebecca, seated us at a window table with views of the hustle and bustle of central Derby, handing us a clear and concise menu. Revolution caters to a wide variety of tastes, with an extensive range divided into burgers, curries, and pasta, and an additional children’s menu that won’t fail to excite younger diners. A meze starter to share presented a vibrant fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine, and we devoured a combination of spicy chorizo, garlic dough sticks, and tender chicken skewers before moving on to the mains. Rebecca recommended the lobster ravioli, which featured tender chunks of lobster parcelled between pasta sheets, while my dining companion chose plump grilled king prawns, served with a wonderful cauliflower and quinoa salad. Already dangerously full, we were tempted into sharing the delightfully creamy New York vanilla cheesecake, with a side of strawberries that provided a splash of colour.
Revolution also offers cocktail masterclasses and a range of party packages, making this the perfect place for that special occasion, whether it’s a meal for two, or a bigger group looking for an exciting night out.
