Waterloo Cottage Farm Shop
Cafe and Farm Shop

It all began with Angus Clarke’s dream of producing top-notch traceable meat from well-reared animals. After buying a farmhouse with his wife Kirsty, his dream was turned into reality and they now run a 125-acre farm, farm shop, butchery school and chemical-free community garden.
Waterloo Cottage is rooted in wholesomeness and the team is dedicated to rearing truly free-range pigs, pasture-fed sheep and Highland beef. Cattle graze on pastures free from chemicals, and antibiotics are never used in meat, so you can rest assured that you’ll tuck into the highest-quality meat. You can sample the farm’s delicious yield in the much-loved farm shop.
A range of award-winning charcuterie, pâté, pork pies, and sausage rolls made using meat from the farm animals are popular with regulars. There are vegetables, milk, butter, bacon and a range of ready meals made on-site too. If they can’t rear it, make it or grow it themselves, the team carefully sources other treats such as cheese, cakes, pickles, preserves and bread from trusted local producers and organic farmers. An extensive range of organic or biodynamic spirits, beer and wine is available.
From the community garden to the butchery and sausage-making courses found here, everything encourages the community to congregate and have a slice of the good life.
A café that utilises the produce grown at the farm is set to open in 2018, and Country Bumpkin Yurts are available to rent on the farm should you wish to fully immerse yourself in and be part of this pastoral dream.
