Acqua7

0.5 miles
7 Balls Pond Road, London, N1 4AX

Acqua 7 is a concept bar and architecturally designed space challenging the perception of bars in Hackney, and pioneering a new wave of modern fine drinking in London. Inspired by the founder’s well-travelled and cultured upbringing, Acqua7 presents a fresh space, just off Dalston Junction at 7 Balls Pond Road.

The bar offers food and drink for both day and night, a retail area where you can purchase your favourite wine from the menu, an exciting programme of creative events such as art exhibitions, collaborations and kitchen takeovers, and is available for private hire. Acqua7 has a wine list that you can easily settle in to, from the accessible to the more noted, and a cocktail menu that includes classics such as Negroni and specially created cocktails like the Dalston Handshake. Equal thought has been given to the food here, with a menu of sandwiches, and cheese and charcuterie boards inspired by the founder’s time spent in Italy.

Collaborating with Italian architecture studio Arkyna Design, the founder Cyrus Cookson has translated a vision for a new culture of fine drinking in East London, creating a bar that is unique to the area, incorporating unexpected design aspects and an atmosphere that is both progressive and intimate.
