Situated in the stunning surroundings of the River Test in Hampshire, the charming and beautiful Kimbridge Barn in Romsey has officially opened its doors to the public and promises to be one of the county’s most unique hospitality venues.

After a £350,000 investment from Ideal Collection, a group of now 6 pubs, restaurants and cafés that can be found within the region, whether you’re throwing an elegant and enchanting wedding, need the perfect space for a conference, or you’re simply looking for a relaxed gathering space to unwind with friends and family over breakfast, brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea, Kimbridge Barn is that place. With its characterful and peaceful café and tea room, adjacent rustic barn with vaulted ceilings and oak beams, and private and pretty courtyard brimming with flowers, plants and trees, Ideal Collection has really done an incredible job of transforming this old and rundown building into the venue of your dreams.

Although their barn/function room and Boot Room won’t be open until mid-January, the café and tea room at Kimbridge Barn is now welcoming guests to pop on by and enjoy the unique charm, sophistication, and cosy ambience this venue has to offer. Light, airy and simply styled, with vaulted ceilings, potted plants adorning the walls, and wooden beams painted white, this truly is the perfect place to unwind from the stresses and over-complications of the world.

Open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday, enjoy a delicious breakfast with dishes that include Bircher muesli or Kimbridge Barn’s hearty and satisfying Full English. Brunch, served from 11am onwards, will delight diners no matter their tastes, with enticing dishes like omelette Arnold Bennett and sweet potato hash, with their in-house pastry chef cooking up indulgent homemade cakes and savoury treats daily.

Along with the opening of their barn/ function room, 2019 aims to be quite the year for Kimbridge Barn, with a calendar full of cracking events that will really introduce new guests to everything this fantastic new venue has to offer.
