Grillstock, the UK’s biggest BBQ and music festival will return to Bristol’s Harbourside this year on 30th June and 1st July with early bird tickets launched ahead of the festival’s line-up announcement.
Grillstock’s King of The Grill contenders will return, giving festival goers the chance to witness BBQ teams battle it out around the clock over the smoky coals. The ‘low and slow’ BBQ competition puts the teams through their paces as they show off their culinary skills in a series of challenges. Interact with the teams, taste the food and experience their passion for authentic barbecue!
Clifton Chilli Club will be hosting their legendary chilli eating competition live on the main stage, where festival competitors will battle it out to eat the hottest chillis on the planet against the clock and each other. Festival goers can register to enter, or for those whose expertise is speed rather than heat, there will be the customary hot dog and hot wing eating contests taking place each day.
The festival will feature two music stages and pop-up performance spaces and the usual helping of BBQ and street food vendors sourced from the South West and all over the UK. The Grillstock Dive Bar will return with some of the finest craft beers and bourbon from around the globe.
Barry McMurdock, MD of Grillstock explains;
“Grillstock is a staple of the Bristol festival scene and this year we’ve got the very best line-up in the festival’s history with an unmissable headliner each night. There is nothing better than enjoying a really great beer, listening to Americana and learning tips from some of the festival’s previous BBQ champions in the setting of Bristol harbour.”
Early bird tickets are on sale now from www.grillstock.co.uk. Saturday tickets are £28 and Sunday tickets are £24 with weekend tickets for £45. The festival’s legendary Pit Crew tickets will cost £75 which includes beers, BBQ and merch vouchers as well as a weekend ticket and access to the legendary Firestarter party.
