The Depot will be hosting their first Peaky Blinders themed event at the end of March this year, and you can register to be the first to hear when tickets will be released on the Depot’s website.
The Depot in Cardiff first opened their doors back in 2015 and since then it has gone on to host some of the best events in the city. From street food festivals to beer and vegan festivals, it is set in a 24,000 sq ft former warehouse so there’s plenty of room and flexibility to run all manner of events.
There are five dates that you can choose from: March 24th, March 30th, April 1st, April 7th and April 14th the organisers are saying that there may be additional dates announced after this.
The event is strictly fancy dress only and to create an authentic 1920’s atmosphere, the organisers are promising to “blur the lines between performance and audience” and have “secret corners, gambling dens, moonshine and fortune tellers.”
There will also be professional actors bought in to add to the authenticity and there will be Charleston dancers and a live band. Food served will consist of traditional newspaper-wrapped fish and chips or slow braised beef in gravy.
Drinks will consist of Bootleg cocktails, whisky on the rocks and bathtub gin. Tickets will go on sale soon and will cost £15 per person.
