Best Western Fowey Valley headerSometimes there’s nothing better than taking a little break in winter. Maybe you can’t get the time off for Christmas, or you’re understandably reluctant to give up your family time. But a little break in the chilliest of seasons is just the thing to keep you going. As the crisp British autumn draws closer, it’s the perfect time to give yourself something to look forward to – why not book a cosy Cornish escape?

The newly rebranded Best Western Fowey Valley is the same beloved venue that was known as Restormel Lodge Hotel for many years, treating customers under the Best Western brand since 1989. 27 years later and this modern Cornish hotel demonstrates the best of the global Best Western brand’s hospitality, with bright and airy rooms, a heated outdoor pool, free parking, free Wi-Fi, and a lovely on-site restaurant. It is situated just a short drive from the Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The hotel’s fantastic Couple’s Retreat package starts at just £149 and affords guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing luxury mini-break with their loved one. It comprises a two-night stay in one of the Best Western Fowey Valley’s deluxe double rooms, with a full Cornish breakfast, dinner included on the first night and a bottle of Prosecco in your room upon arrival.

If you’re unable or unwilling to leave your pooch behind, the Pampered Pets package is the one for you. The Fowey Valley’s dog-friendly policy welcomes your canine companions, and ensures you have everything you need to keep them as happy as can be during your stay. From just £69, the package includes a one-night stay for two and your four-legged friend in one of the hotel’s courtyard rooms, a full Cornish breakfast, a special pet welcome pack (a luxury dog bed, floor mat, dog bowls and treats), a list of dog-friendly beaches, and an official privacy sign to let other guests and hotel staff know that you’ve got a dog in your room.

We’re sure you’re as excited about these offers as we are, but please note that the packages are subject to availability and are not valid from the 23rd to the 27th of December, or on the 31st of December, 1st of January or the 14th of February. For more details see the Best Western Fowey Valley’s website or give the team a call.

The cosy en-suite rooms are all furnished with 32-inch TVs, free Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. The Conservatory Restaurant’s seasonal menus showcase delicious local Cornish produce, while the Lounge Bar provides local ales and a well-stocked wine cellar.
