The Town House at the Kensington Hotel are running a Beauty and the Beast-themed afternoon tea to celebrate the highly-anticipated release of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.
They originally planned to run the ‘Tale as Old as Time’ afternoon tea from February 13th – 26th, but as it sold out within a matter of hours, the hotel has had to extend until the end of June.
The hotel created the special afternoon tea “with a magical twist” to celebrate the highly-anticipated release of Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens.
The executive chef Steve Gibbs, formerly of Hix and Caprice Holdings, creates the menus at The Town House to suit all tastes, with an emphasis on fresh, season-led produce. A hand-picked wine list complements the excellent cuisine.
Designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors, the building’s natural charm and old English town house aesthetic is reflected in playful patterned fabrics, rugs, and classic rosewood and walnut that blend the traditional and modern elements perfectly.
The Tale as Old as Time afternoon tea menu is priced at £35 per person, or £45 with a glass of Champagne.
