Devon, with all of its beach-fringed glory, will soon have its 2015 Food & Drink Guide – and we’re buzzing to let you get your hands on it! This year it is being introduced by one of the UK’s best known, longest standing and most loved telly chefs, Gary Rhodes.

Gary owns and runs the self-named, Rhodes @ The Dom restaurant in Plymouth, which has become one of Devon’s most renowned fine dining restaurants. And with venues in Dubai, the West Indies and London, plus over 15 years as a celebrity chef, we’re super chuffed to have him introduce this year’s Devon guide.

Gary shares his love of the West Country, the growth of the region and the amazing local produce it has to offer.

“The West Country has always been very close to my heart; it is where I started my career and where I won my first Michelin star. Over the years I have been hugely impressed with the commitment to quality of the local growers, farmers and producers – the region really is bursting with some of the finest produce that not only England, but the world has to offer. This, combined with the laid-back way of life, fabulous scenery, great beaches and the wonderful (yet challenging) wilderness of the moors, really does create something special.”
