If you’re a fan of Bloomsbury cookbooks then you’re in for a treat this summer, as the Bloomsbury Cooks Food Festival is coming to Little Chalfont. The one-day food festival, in association with Chorleywood Bookshop, aims to celebrate the nation’s favourite cookbooks along with their creators, and of course all things foodie!
The star-studded guest list includes talks and exhibitions from such culinary idols as master baker Paul Hollywood, breakfast guru Seb Emina and food anthropologist Dr Kaori O’Connor. Demonstrations will take place throughout the day, led by Michelin starred chef Atul Kochar, TV presenter Alex McKay and ‘Ice Cream Kid’ Ben Vear. All of this will be chaired by actress and Celebrity Masterchef finalist Wendi Peters.
Of course, celebrities aside, no food festival would be complete without plenty of delicious treats for you to try, and on this front Bloomsbury Cooks will certainly not disappoint. A wide range of mouth-watering cuisine will be on offer throughout the day from local suppliers, including independent bakery Cinnamon Square.
The festival will take place on Saturday 29th June, so make sure to add it to your diaries now, as this is definitely one not to be missed. For more information visit www.bloomsburycooks.com, or follow them on Twitter @bloomsburycooks.
