Bloomsbury Publishing has announced the publication of MasterChef: The Finalists. The first book of dedicated finalists’ recipes from the TV series, MasterChef: The Finalists will showcase the best food from Britain’s top amateur cooks, Natalie Coleman, Dale Williams and Larkin Cen.
Watched by over 10 million people last week, the MasterChef final on BBC1 saw Hackney girl, Natalie Coleman, crowned MasterChef Champion 2013 by judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. Her Twitter followers soared from just over 5,000 to well over 16,000 after she was crowned champion.
Natalie says: “Winning MasterChef is a dream come true! This is probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my life. As people saw on the series, my style is modern British with a touch of European influence – I’m looking forward to people seeing my new recipes inspired by the show, as well as ones I cooked on the show. I love cooking for friends and family and hope with this cookbook you can please your friends and family too.”
All three finalists have become instant celebrities with a combined Twitter following of just under 30,000. They will be appearing at the BBC Good Food Show in June as the first appearance to promote MasterChef: The Finalists.
The book, to be published on 24th October, will cost £20 and feature 90 dishes to recreate and enjoy – 15 recipes from each finalist, created during the programme, and a further 15 new recipes from each. Sharing their inspirational journey to the final of the prestigious amateur competition, this beautiful cookbook features stunning bespoke photography by David Loftus.
