The Feathered Nest Country Inn has been named as a finalist for the ‘Tourism Pub of the Year’ award by the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2013. The Feathered Nest will now go forward to the glitzy awards ceremony which is being held on 20th May 2013 at Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester. All finalists are guaranteed to receive either a gold, silver, bronze or ‘Highly Commended’ award.

The British Beer & Pub Association is pleased to sponsor the ‘Tourism Pub of the Year’ category for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence this year. VisitEngland Chief Executive James Berresford said: “I would like to congratulate all those nominated as VisitEngland Awards for Excellence finalists this year. We received 320 applications and the quality of submissions was higher than ever.  I wish everyone all the best for the final in May”.
