It’s hard to miss the vivid frontage of The Orange Tree Restaurant, with its orange canopy acting as a beacon directing you to a world of culinary delight. Sharon and Bernd Wolf bring a wealth of experience to the establishment, keeping the time-honoured values of fine dining alive and well with courteous service, consistency and a single-seating policy.

The standard of cuisine at The Orange Tree is second to none. From West Country lamb to South Devon beef, a plethora of quality produce has been gathered to create a succinct, seasonally changing menu. A starter of velvety smooth Brixham crab bisque with king scallops is sure to excite the palate, whilst mains include such delights as pork tenderloin with honey-glazed shallots, slow-cooked spiced belly pork, smoked apple purée and a caraway jus. For dessert, it has to be The Orange Tree creme brulée, which combines Grand Marnier into the burnished vanilla-speckled cream – delicious. The restaurant is keen to cater for specific dietary needs, and the current menu is always available to view on the website.

To accompany your meal, The Orange Tree offers a spectrum of wines from across the globe, including dessert wines and even dusty vintage bottles. This restaurant and its food exude dedication and attention to detail – so relax and relish the experience of true fine dining.
