The Beaufort Raglan is a 16th-Century inn overlooking the village church, in close proximity to the medieval Raglan Castle. The south-facing front terrace provides a relaxing eating and drinking area in the summer. Inside, the beamed bar and lounge provides deep leather sofas, perfect for unwinding with a freshly made coffee and homemade cake, or a glass of wine or ale, whilst reading the daily papers. All the real ales bear the Cask Marque quality standard.

A roaring fire and candlelit tables provide an informal setting for an evening supper of classic British food, such as beef and ale pie or a selection from the weekly specials board, which includes fresh fish from Devon. There’s a seasonal selection, an à la carte menu and lunchtime menu and all breads, desserts and ice creams are produced in-house. The brasserie, which is AA rosette awarded, is decorated in a stylish vein, but still maintains an intimacy much appreciated by guests.

Being just five minutes from the A40/A449 junction, The Beaufort Raglan is popular with locals, tourists and business people alike. For those wishing to stay, all 17 bedrooms are individually furnished. For special occasions and weddings there is a ballroom that seats up to 120; it includes full meeting facilities too. Above all, the owners and their welcoming staff look forward to providing guests with the best possible food, accommodation and facilities, all at sensible prices.
