On the face of it, The Swan Inn is a pub in the traditional sense of the word, but it has some surprising features. The portions are generous and you can choose anything from a snack to a banquet. Dishes include hearty soups, lamb hot pot, rich and creamy lasagne, beautifully moist grilled lemon sole and a locally renowned range of fantastic steaks with real home-made chips. There is a traditional roast on Sundays and plenty of options for vegetarians and children. The restaurant is tastefully dressed and is an ideal venue for a range of functions and special events.
