The Goat and Grill has been reincarnated with a slightly different name and, according to the website, a better everything else. There is a great new menu, live entertainment every weekend and even a stuffed goat in the window.

The restaurant provides a contemporary space in which to dine, decorated in muted tones of black, white and grey with subtle floral prints. The atmosphere is trendy but informal and the service attentive without being overpowering - in fact, it seems as if everything at The Goat and Grill is perfectly balanced, from the mood to the fantastic flavours put together by the expert chefs.

The brunch menu, served between 11am and 2pm, has some excellent options for those who have missed breakfast or don't want a big lunch - the smoked salmon and scrambled egg parcels are a favourite. Diners looking for the full three courses (or even just one or two) will not be disappointed either - there is a wide variety of tempting starters, mains, pizzas, sides and desserts. Standout dishes include the smoked mackerel paté with beetroot jam and Crieff oatcakes, the steak and Guinness pie, the meatball hoagie and the Goat and Grill homemade burger - just a few of the comforting old favourites available. Expect great things when you visit The Goat and Grill. This is a restaurant not to be missed.
