Rogano - comprising a restaurant, café and oyster bar - is something of a Glasgow institution, serving the best Scottish seafood straight from Scottish seas to the city's discerning diners and drinkers from 1935 to today. Stylish art deco surroundings create an elegant and unique atmosphere, offering a friendly welcome for travellers and newcomers alike. Enjoy a lavish formal meal in the restaurant, where you could sample a variety of seafood including lobster thermidor, and something from the persuasive dessert menu that includes Valrhona chocolate soup with hazelnut foam and orange flower madeleines. In the bar try a sumptuous variety of oysters, or something from a lighter menu offering imaginative delectable sandwiches such as chicken and mango, prawn with ginger and lime mayonnaise, and the wonderfully Scottish gateau of haggis, neeps and tatties with an Arran grain mustard sauce.

Rogano is ideal for families or, with its later opening hours, groups of friends. Plenty of lighter bites, vegetarian options and child-friendly dishes allow for relaxed, top-quality eating. Wine lists are chosen to complement the luxurious food on each menu, and a decadent list of cocktails in the bar is sure to guarantee a festive evening all round. An afternoon tea menu, a pre and post-theatre option and reasonably priced set menus for larger groups makes Rogano perfect for any occasion.
