Tapas just became exciting at Las Ramblas in Glasgow. Situated in the delightful town of Bearsden, Las Ramblas brings together the taste of Spain with extraordinary cuisine from Scotland and the wider world. The modern decor and comfortable furnishings exude the ambience of the Mediterranean as you are welcomed by friendly, courteous staff.

To begin, fresh bread with olive oil and chilli paste are perfect to savour whilst deciding what to order. With hot and spicy chicken wings cooked with harissa, chorizo sautéed in red wine, pan-fried garlic mushrooms and traditional paellas, there’s ample choice here. I had the pleasure of sampling haggis buñuelos – an unusual dish bursting with flavour consisting of seasoned haggis in light crispy batter, served on a balsamic onion bed. My partner went for the satisfying lamb and wine casserole.

All prospective customers are considered, with classic dishes available such as lasagne, fish and chips and sirloin steak. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the scrumptious Scottish tablet ice cream or the indulgent millionaire’s cheesecake. Refreshing beverages and carefully selected global wines complement this incredible feast. Be sure not to miss out on their fabulous promotions, such as the appropriately titled ‘Tapas Madness’, featuring dishes for just £1.
