Contemporary and thoroughly cool, The Living Room piano bar and restaurant offers a full night out, from drinks at the bar to a fabulous meal, followed by live music. Just one look at their extensive drinks menu and it’s obvious The Living Room is as serious about liquid refreshment as it is about food. You’ll find a dazzling array of concoctions to try – the rich and creamy Espressotini features a hit of freshly brewed espresso shaken to a froth with vodka, Kahlua and white sugar. Their selection of draught and bottled beers is equally impressive, showcasing varieties from around the world.

Quality and creativity are no less present on the food menu, which features everything from snacks such as fillet steak ciabatta with sautéed mushrooms, onions and red wine jus with rocket, and a feta and grilled peach salad with fine beans, peas and spring onion tossed in a chilli lime dressing, to full three-course meals. Start with pan-seared scallops with chorizo, new potatoes and baby plum tomatoes, then tuck into a ‘home comfort’ like pork belly on a Bury black pudding, parsley and Bramley apple mash with a sage jus, or whole lemon sole with garlic and parsley butter, new potatoes and wilted spinach. After a finale of chocolate and Bourbon biscuit cheesecake with strawberries drenched in a basil syrup, satisfaction will be written all over your face. With a variety of dining areas to choose from, The Living Room is perfectly suited to private functions. The whole bar has a total capacity of 250 and exclusive areas throughout the venue are available with no hire fee.
