The Engine Shed is an innovative training project for young people with learning disabilities to help them improve their confidence, learn transferable skills in a real work environment and move into paid employment within mainstream workplaces.

They achieve these objectives through operating several training workshops, which provide the working and learning environment for the trainees. These are a vegetarian café, organic bakery and tofu production, as well as conference and catering facilities.

They also provide bread, rolls, cakes, tray bakes, oatcakes and a variety of tofu to not only our café and conference service, but to various outlets across Scotland. But sure not to miss their celebrated vegetarian café, which is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am until 4pm.
