Bia Bistrot is a local restaurant that strives to promote a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, making you feel right at home. Every detail has been carefully considered to put guests at ease and allow them to experience the synergy between the food and surroundings.

The style of cuisine that Bia Bistrot offers is very much based around top-quality local and seasonal ingredients. Sustainability is also important, and fish such as mackerel and coley feature on the menu along with foraged ingredients including wild Scottish mushrooms, seasonal fruit and herbs.

The menu changes regularly, with specials such as devilled lambs’ kidneys, steak and ale pie and bread and butter pudding on offer. Beer and cider is sourced from small, local producers, game is from Burnside and fish is from Eddie’s Seafood Market. The steaks and artisan cheeses are even served on wooden boards commissioned from local cabinet maker, Pete Hewitt. With a strong belief in building lasting relationships with their clientele, Bia Bistrot’s proprietors, Roisin and Matthias Llorente, regularly take the time to serve food personally to guests, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and have a chat. With such a rapport with customers and comfortable environment, it is no surprise that Bia Bistrot stands so proud.
