According to its menu, the Dizzy Llama is an ‘eco-friendly Welsh restaurant with world-wide influences’, a phrase that sums up the restaurant perfectly. The restaurant aims to operate in the most ethical way possible and they currently recycle approximately 80 per cent of their overall waste, and use environmentally friendly cleaning products. They also serve Fairtrade products and always ensure they source local produce to reduce food miles. As if that wasn’t enough to prove their ethical credentials, the Dizzy Llama also regularly supports local and international charities, proving it truly is a restaurant with a conscience. The menu features everything from Welsh lamb shank in red wine and mint jus, to tapas, seafood, pasta and pizza. To start, try the delicious lamb kofta skewers, served with a cooling yoghurt and mint dip, or the tasty homemade vegetable soup. For your main course, make sure you sample the Noodle Doodle Duck – tender duck legs on a bed of stir-fried vegetables and noodles in Dizzy Quack-Quack sauce – or the Moroccan chicken, both of which are particularly flavoursome. The drinks menu is also excellent, with a great range of wines, spirits, soft drinks and cocktails available. With its strong ethical values, great service and excellent food, this friendly restaurant is guaranteed to charm you. All in all, the ideal place to relax with family or friends.
