Streets Brasserie is proud to be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2010. Since opening the restaurant in July of 1990, owners Alun and Barbara Davies have worked tirelessly to build up the strong and loyal customer base that the restaurant prides itself on today. A family-run business in the heart of Barry, Streets is a comfortable, informal and stylish place to eat, serving classic and contemporary cuisine at surprisingly affordable prices. Whether you're relaxing alone or meeting friends, this brasserie is always buzzing with a friendly energy.

The atmosphere at Streets is laid-back and welcoming, and there's an attention to detail and high level of service that ensures your whole dining experience will be truly memorable. So whether you're visiting for a romantic meal for two, a family celebration or a Christmas party, Streets really is the place to be. The menu is modern British with Mediterranean influences, while the wine list contains all the well-known favourites plus wines from quality vineyards from around the world. And, in the national spirit, Streets serves local Welsh lager and ale, as well as premium spirits and cocktails.

It's worth paying Streets Brasserie a visit just to see the eclectic, quirky decor. When the brasserie opened 20 years ago, only a handful of street signs were scattered about by way of decoration. Two decades later, the brasserie has been transformed - now, a fascinating selection of memorabilia adorns the walls. Photographs of New York, Paris and London and hundreds of street signs, donated by customers, claim every inch of wall space. The real piéce de résistance, however, is the wall entirely dedicated to displaying photographs of customers past and present - there's always someone having a good look at these, trying to spot someone they know. This fantastic brasserie is certainly streets ahead of the rest.
